A discussion involving the names ‘Tesla’ and ‘Edison’ would definitely end up in a fight so we’ll just gloss over that and focus on the fact that this truck is indeed named after Nikola Tesla’s rival: Edison. Well, technically the name of the company is EdisonFuture.

They call it the ’EF1-T’ – the T stands for ‘truck’ (duh) – and the first thing you notice is it is massive: 243 inches in length, that’s 6.17 metres, which makes it longer than both the Cybertruck and the Ford F-150 Ligthning.

There are solar panels on the roof, that’s probably the most interesting feature, and according to EdisonFuture, it is available with three powertrain options with 1, 2 or 3 electric motors, ranging from 440 hp to 816 hp. The range-topping model, dubbed the ‘Super’, can reportedly travel 450 miles on a charge and tow up to 11,000 lbs (4,990 kg). Cool stuff.
