This year’s Cronoscalata will start from Linguaglossa, a small town at the foot of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy and will feature a plethora of jaw-dropping classics and racers.
Cronoscalata is the combination of the words ‘crono’ – as in ‘stopwatch’ – and ‘scalata’, Italian for ‘climb’, and as the name suggets, the race starts at around 300 metre above sea level, all the way up the hairpins on the winding road to the top of Mount Etna, an active Volcano in Sicily.
The race starts on April 22, 2022.
