Polestar apparently doesn’t know how to count, but the new 5 looks promising

Volvo’s spin-off brand Polestar (but they’re both of Geely Group) apparently can’t count because after the Polestar 1 and 2, they’ve revealed the new 5. Odd.

The thing is, allocating numbers to your car is a bit tricky because it implies a certain hierarchy. How will BMW, for example, build a car that’s smaller than the Series 1? What would they call it, Series 0.5?

Polestar has also teased an upcoming 3 model, an SUV, which will be built and sold in the United States in 2022, whereas its fourth EV, the 5 (told ya), will take the shape of a four-door GT.

We don’t know much in terms of performance and range, but we do know it looks rather good. But then again all Polestar do. Including the non-existing 4. Cool stuff.
