This is one of the most omnipresent, slightly annoying, slightly interesting trends of the 2020s and 2010s: somebody somehow manages to buy something at retail price and then they list it for sale in the pre-owned market five seconds later to make money.
That’s what happened with Tesla’s latest product, the Cyberquad, inspired by the Cybertruck but, well, it’s a quad.
It’s powered by a 36V Flight Speed LI Ion battery, which apparently can be charged three times as fast as the ‘standard’ battery you find in an actual Tesla car. It has a range of 15 miles and a top speed of 10 mph.
You don’t actually plug the quad into the charger, what you have to do is remove the battery, which apparently takes seconds, and then charge it using the custom designed charger.
The Cyberquad is built and designed for kids, and it is no longer available on Tesla’s website, where it’s marked as “out of stock”. The original price tag was $1,900 but hey, you can get it on eBay for $3,000 or more.
